Join the Cordova Volunteer Firemen’s Association as we celebrate 100 years of service to the Cordova community.
Founded in 1926, CVFA has proudly protected the residents of Cordova and the surrounding areas for a full century. What began with a small group of dedicated community members and a Model T chemical truck has grown into a modern fire, rescue, and EMS organization serving Talbot County with professionalism and pride.
This special Centennial Celebration is an opportunity for the community, past and present members, and neighboring departments to come together and honor the legacy of the Cordova Volunteer Firemen’s Association.
The event will feature a variety of activities for all ages, including:
- Fire Department Parade
- Food and refreshments
- Commemorative 100th Anniversary Challenge Coin
- Exclusive Centennial T-Shirts
- Department apparatus on display
- Community fellowship and celebration
Whether you’re a lifelong resident, a supporter of the fire service, or simply looking for a fun local event, this celebration is a chance to reflect on a century of dedication, volunteerism, and service to the community.
Come out and help us celebrate 100 years of protecting Cordova.
